BDTB/ORANJE Contest for Producers: Submit Your ORANJE Themed Beat!

If you haven’t noticed the banner at the top, the side link along the right column, or the orange themed font changes, we’re here to tell you that ORANJE is coming on 9/22/12. This year is especially special to us at BDTB because we are going to be there with a few goodies for all the attendees this year. We’re currently in the process of putting together our mobile recording booth, and participants this year will be able to record whatever they want in the booth (for a buck) for 60 seconds, and a week or so after the festival everyone will be available to download their “song” (and everybody else’s for that matter) on our site. Yep, that means you. Your nephew. Hell, even your grandmother. Comedy? I think yes.

This is where you producers come in.

We’re holding a contest for the beats/instrumentals that are going to be used. We are going to cycle between 10 beats for each participant, and we are opening this up to you. Submit your best “ORANJE” themed beat (whatever you think that means) to the email address provided below by 9/19/12 at 11:59PM, and you could be one of the producers whose instrumental is showcased at our booth. Give it a unique name. Get as creative as you want. Just make sure it is at least 60 seconds long, no longer than 90 seconds, and in high quality mp3 format when you send it to us (320 kbps).

In addition to having your sounds showcased to hundreds of amateur stars, you will also be showcased in a sponsored release compilation that will showcase the selected instrumentals of this contest.
