    #KANSAS: SuperShaqGonzoe “SUPER” Video | @SuperShaqGonzoe

While spending a little time on The Facebook this evening, I came across another new artist that I had never heard of named SuperShaqGonzoe. I saw my guy, That Kid Ty post Shaq’s new video and figured I would check it out. Almost instantly I thought the video, “SUPER” was dope! I hit him up on Facebook as well and he sent me a couple other videos that were also really dope. Since he is a new artist to the site, I wanted him to give a little background about his life, so read his story below, check out his video SUPER and stay tuned for his debut mixtape, Not A Hero.

“Born in San Juan, Puerto Rico on June 16, 1994 and raised in a poor environment, Shaq was a young witness to many aspects of the streets including drugs, guns and just overall crazy shit that a kid shouldn’t be around. A lot of his family members and friends ended up dead or in jail. Eventually his father joined the military to leave the island, leading Shaq to travel across the world to countries including Germany, Italy, Paris, France, Spain and more. Traveling had a huge influence on Shaq, seeing the way other people lived and their cultures opened his eyes to the world around him and was a direct dichotomy to his life in Puerto Rico. Eventually his father got stationed in Georgia, where Shaq lived in Savannah for some time. This was the first time Shaq lived in the suburbs and nice area where he no longer had to worry about violence to the same degree as before. Shaq currently resides in the Midwest (Kansas) and is working on his debut mixtape “Not A Hero” while also attending school.”
