Countdown to Straight Outta Compton

It’s been a long time coming for “The Worlds Most Dangerous Group” to be immortalized on the silver screen, and this Friday August, 14th, Straight Outta Compton The Story of NWA will be released. This is bigger than a meme generator. It even gave Dre the energy he needed to put out his latest, Compton.

For those that don’t know, NWA played a huge roll in the music industry and the shape of the culture. Imagine what it would be like without Eazy E, Dr. Dre, Ice Cube, Yella, and MC Ren. Some of your favorite artists wouldn’t exist.

With that being said, for the rest of the week we will post something by or directly influenced by N.W.A. for a little history. Today, peep the video for Straight Outta Compton off of their first studio album. Check back tomorrow for another one.
