Day 24 of 30 Days of Homeboy Sandman: “I Knew”

I have a lot of songs that I dig from Homeboy Sandman, but “I Knew” might be the first standout track that I regularly bumped. The easy-going chorus of humming just stood out and took me to a great place. Why? Who knows. The intent of this song was getting the attention of ?uestlove himself, in hopes of getting put on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon. When you listen with that in mind it elevates the song even that much further. The horns are like some sort of SNL intro or something. Mug with this.
