Gavin – “Merchant” (Release)

Toronto beat-maker Gavin recently dropped Merchant, a 31 track beat tape anthology of his favorite tracks that he’s produced in the past 6 months. Oh, you don’t know Gavin? Get familiar, because this youngster got skills on the beats. The kid has some serious work ethic too, having already released 11 beat tapes prior to this one this year alone. For the speed that Gavin churns out tracks, the quality is surprisingly high. Raw loops, chunky drums with bounce, and that classic flavor with a twist. Recommended.
