No Mean City Interviews EJAAZ for “This Is Home” (Video)

Check out a new interview video that Indianapolis’ No Mean City did with EJAAZ. The Eagle Tuck artist is currently down at SXSW performing and representing the city, but you can get a bit more familiar with him above (and below).

EJAAZ defies definition. The visual artist, rapper, singer, and songwriter mixes musical genres and artistic disciplines—creating something that’s not purely rap or hip-hop, not purely visual or auditory, but something greater than the sum of its parts.

In 2012, Indiana-born EJAZZ was named Indy’s Hip-Hop Artist of the Year, and in 2014, he was invited to perform at SxSW. Recently, EJAZZ used a video camera to record life as he knows it in Mapleton-Fall Creek and downtown Indy. Here’s what he saw.
