Sokro & bobbitopickles – “Ave. Dreams” (Release)

San Francisco beat-label Fuzzoscope strikes again with Ave. Dreams, a split beat-tape with Sokro & bobbitopickles, and it’s lit. Taking the A side, Sokro proves himself to be a master of his craft. Warm tape hiss, and fuzzy sample textures slide in between skittering drum rhythms, and misfiring synth spasms. Each beat is deceptively simple; filled to the brim with subtle details. Side B is the realm of bobbitopickles. Glowing soul loops, and fried jazz loops laced with expertly swung drums. Proper vibes that tickle the ears.
