    Marco Polo “Newport Authority 2″ Release | @MarcoPoloBeats


    After a handful of dope leaks, producer Marco Polo has unleashed his Newport Authority 2 for free. The project, which features a slew of legendary emcees, has been premiered by 2dopeboyz. Bump and download below!

    The Newport Authority 2 album was inspired by politics & industry bullsh*t that prevented this material from being included on PA2: The Director’s Cut. Shylow and I went in and created a separate album to hold people over until PA2 drops in July. Attached with Intro, interludes and fully mixed & mastered by Joe Nardone. With confidence I can say this is not a mix tape. It will also be available on vinyl LP via Fat Beats for the heads that appreciate physical product, because I still do. I’ve included songs I recorded with legends such as Rakim, Big Daddy Kane, Tragedy Khadafi, Lil Fame and The Artifacts. But, I’ve also got joints on here with some talented up and comers such as First Division, MidaZ and Big Gutta. Plus the sh*t is free – so enjoy! – Marco Polo

    Check yet another single from producer Marco Polo‘s upcoming Newport Authority 2 album. I’m looking forward to this project!

    Today we release the third in the series of Legendary Emcees on beats by Marco Polo with samples that were impossible to clear… we present “Back To Work” f/ Artifacts (Scratches by Shylow).

    Taken from Marco Polo’s forthcoming free-LP Newport Authority 2 as Marco states “I’ve recorded so much quality material over the last few years and I really want to share it all. It couldn’t all possibly fit on Port Authority 2; hence Newport Authority 2 came to be.”

    Newport Authority 2 will feature appearances from Rakim, Big Daddy Kane, Artifacts, Das Efx, Lil Fame (M.O.P.), Torae & Ruste Juxx all rocking over Marco’s production.

    Yet, the project everyone should really be excited for is Marco’s Port Authority 2 LP which will be released this spring on Soulspazm Records. Port Authority 2 features appearances from Organized Konfusion (yes, a new Organized Konfusion track!!), Gangrene, Talib Kweli, DJ Premier, Masta Ace, Posdnuos (De La Soul), Kardinal Offishal, Styles P, Nature, Rah Digga, Slaine, Celph Titled, Ill Bill, Large Professor, Inspectah Deck, O.C. & many many more.
