  • iStandard Producer Showcase in Chicago March 30-31

Last year I submitted for an iStandard showcase, and I got an email a few weeks back asking if I wanted to participate in the showcase later this month. Apparently there were 200+ submissions, and I was in the 10%. Spectacular! I’ll copy and paste what I have attached in my facebook event:

I’ve been invited to showcase some tracks at the iStandard Producer Showcase for Chicago on March 30-31. I would appreciate any support from peoples in the area that would be able to come out this evening!!! If you live far away I understand… but you could always take a road trip!! This is kind of a big deal as far as showcases are concerned, and I was picked out of 200+ entries to be a part of it. At least that’s what they tell me!

IF YOU ARE A PRODUCER OR ARTIST THIS IS A HUGE NETWORKING EVENT!!!!!

I have tickets to sell to come up with some money for the entrance fee, and I am selling them for $10 for both nights for my peoples (retail is $15 at door, and $20 for both nights). I’m not sure what the agenda is after the showcase, but at the last one I went to, there were a couple big named acts performing. If you can come out I would it would mean a lot!

“The nationally renowned iStandard Producer Showcase returns to Chicago in late-March 2010.

Judge Panel includes DART PARKER – Director of A&R at Shady Records, PROLYFIC – Producer for Lupe Fiasco and Yung Berg, and ROCKWILDER – Grammy Winning Producer.”

Come out and support if you can! I have the tickets… email me @ scstuart@bringingdowntheband.com and I can get you one!!
