Chicago’s Naledge and Money Making Mikkey try to find the meaning of life in a Corona, over some Thelonious Marin production, in their newest video. The video lighting leaves a lot to be desired, but I’m digging the song. Check it out, and be on the lookout for Naledge‘s forthcoming Brain Power project.
The Kid Daytona and DJ Ozone just dropped their new collaboration project Running With The Bulls. This mixtape has 11 tracks and guest appearances and production by the likes of GLC, Naledge, Broadway, Chance The Rapper, Wes P, ILL Brown and more. Download after the jump.
The Kid Daytona hit the midwest for some shows – Chicago, bloomington, and Ohio. While on the tour in December, he met DJ/Producer and tastemaker – Dj Ozone, and the two discussed working on some music. Daytona has always had deep roots and love in the Chicago area, and has always felt a bond with the talent coming from the Midwest – from KNAWLEDGE, CHUCK ENGLISH, YP, CHANCE THE RAPPER, GLC, BROADWAY, ILL BROWN, and others. The fruits of that experience spawned forth Daytona’s latest project “Runnin With The Bulls”. Take a ride with Daytona as he teams up with some of good friends from the Midwest on this new Mixtape “Runnin With The Bulls”.

Here’s a brand new tape from Chicago’s ADaD, entitled P.S. I’m Next. Granted, I’ve seen him dropping tracks here and there, but I guess it didn’t register that this was dropping. Pleasant surprise.
