I’m really late in posting this, but if you’re on twitter there’s no way you haven’t seen it tweeted around the last few weeks. Mr. Kinetik and Eratic are throwing this show with Hinx Jones and Jack & Crown at the Melody Inn tomorrow night. Ace One is hosting. Hinx Jones will be starting it off around 9. Be there!! $3

Yep, it’s going to be a DOPE show. Earlier this summer, Blake and I got together a few times in preparation to try to put a few shows together. This is the first, and also a continuation of the Tastykrates showcase that Joe Harvey and I put together at Sound Bombing last month. So here’s the deal:
-AR Mac, Blake Allee, and Hinx Jones of Indianapolis will be doing sets
-Papi Jamon is coming down from Chicago to rock some joints (live footage)
-Tastykrates Showcase: Son of Thought, Shawn P (of Dirty 30), & Soul Cinematik
-DJ Nickless Castle from Chicago is handling the decks for Sept 1
-We MAY have a home DJ in the house
-We MAY have a special guest producer from Chicago that night as well

$5
The Melody Inn
Doors @ 9, SHOW AT 10!!!
Side note: DJ Nickless Castle is spinning w/ DJ MetroGnome on August 31st @ Coaches. BE THERE!

Wednesday, 8/4/2010, was a big day for my video camera here in Indianapolis. Jake One & Freeway (along with J Moore) traveled here to do a Red Bull Q&A, and show later in the evening at the Jazz Kitchen.
A little background on this video: DJ MetroGnome hit me and a few other Indianapolis producers up to submit a track for the Freezer himself to spit on at the show, and Soul Cinematik’s got chosen (props to him, it was a dope joint). At the same time, MetroGnome got a track from Jake One for a few Indianapolis emcee’s to hop on. Later on in the evening (which you’ll probably see in my other footage), I found out who the other two emcee’s were. Alpha was the only guy present for this little impromptu specialness, as you can see. Props to Indianapolis hip hop, Red Bull, Freeway, Jake One, J Moore (Indianapolis & Seattle), the Jazz Kitchen, Tara Barber Shop, and everybody that was a part of making this a great experience. I’m still in the process of editing all of the footage from the actual Q&A, and event that evening at the Jazz Kitchen, but here’s the first phase. Enjoy!
