INDIANA’S HIP HOP REPRESENTATIVE. EST. 2009.

Welcome to BDTB’s second annual year-end Wrap Up! Below are categories for you to vote on your favorite emcee, producer, music video, release, single, b-side track, and collaboration. This year we have either links to listen to the project or watch the video right next to the nominee, and for each song category we have a player below the voting where you can listen to each song!

With close to 6000 total votes cast in the different categories, below are the winners of our Indiana categories this year for artists that fit into BDTB’s realm. Again, as stated down at the bottom (and as we did last year), fan votes account for 70% 80% and BDTB accounts for the other 30% 20%. We know damn well that a majority of fans do NOT listen to all of the projects and singles, so this is our way to make it the most fair for the best product; not just the most popular. Our winners, as well as the fan favorites without our votes, are listed below. Take the list for what it is and go be productive in 2014! Congrats to everyone.

Disclaimers & Such:
1) There’s no way to keep track of every release ever put out in Indiana, so the releases we selected are of artists in Indiana that we not only shared and liked in 2013, but also has it available for stream online somewhere. We had to narrow it down to the list you see below rather than having a million for each category.
2) All emcees listed in the best-of category has either been featured on three tracks shared at BDTB or put out a full-length release. You can’t rap on one song and be nominated anymore. The same thing goes for producers (it’s extremely hard to track these guys down).
3) All of the user votes will account for 70% 80% of the voting, and us at BDTB will add our 30% 20% onto the end of that. Call it a little quality control.
4) We track IP’s, so if we catch somebody cheating we’ll adjust accordingly.
5) Rappers: Don’t take these lists all that serious. Take this time to listen and learn something about some of your peers.
6) Please don’t be a lame and just vote for all of your friends. Listen and vote for the best (your favorite) of each category!
7) Artists, we suggest you tell your fans to listen to everything rather than just vote for you (that’s how you make new fans)! If you’re not on our list, hopefully next year you submit music to us, we like it, and we post it. Otherwise, good luck to all!
