Brad Real “Letter’s To The Editor” Release | @BradReal

Brad Real just dropped off his 3rd studio release. I don’t normally do reviews, and I have no intention on starting, but I’ll touch on a few things from the project.

First off, I’ve known Brad Real for a few years, and if you’ve ever heard anything from Brad in the past, you will know upon listening to Letter’s To The Editor that the Naptown artist seems to have stepped a little outside his regular pocket for this one. For example, you will hear a lot more than the sounds you are used to from Brad; there are a lot of different producer credits on this project. From boom bap type joints by Joe Harvey, Feeray, Son of Thought, Lonegevity, Mr. Kinetik, and Dusty Fingertips, to El Carnicero’s and Ed Trauma’s up-tempo-type grooves, to some pop-rock-hip hop crafted by Nick J; there’s a little bit of everything on this project. I personally dig the aggression and growth in his song writing; dude simply snapped on some of the songs. Yes, some songs I dig, and some I simply don’t care for, but I will say this: If you have some sort of previous perceived notion about Brad, give this a listen before you judge it. If I had to pick 3 favorite songs from the project for you to check out, they would be the ones I’ve listed them below:

“Easy”
“Cliques”
“Yesterday”
