Earl Sweatshirt goes hard on the stage at Coachella! He even enlisted the help of some friends bringing Tyler the Creator, Flying Lotus, Vince Staples and Domo Genesis. Glad we can cop these performances now instead of later.

Jurassic 5 got back together for a performance at Coachella this past weekend and have announced that they will also be going on tour! I could not be more excited and really hope this means a new album in the future. Dig on the full performance.
Read more »Coachella was a big regenerator of it all. We wanted something big to come out to. We couldn’t just start something up – it had to be centered around something big and Coachella came with an offer. We at BDTB were a part of the Dilla Day celebration here in in Indianapolis last month. The good folks over at Old Soul, DJ MetroGnome, The Native Sun Band, a couple handfuls of Naptown’s best emcee’s, and Detroit’s Illa J and Frank Nitt were all here to celebrate this event.
Below you can see many of the pictures that we snapped throughout the evening (by our very own TR), as well as all of the recordings that went on in our mobile recording booth that we brought out for the evening. All of the beats were of course Dilla jams, and all attendants got the chance to lay something down over the legendary producer’s work for a couple bucks. After a really rough mix and edit we have what you can hear below! Also, as a special treat, Illa J, J Dilla’s brother, put down a quick verse in our booth at the event. Check that out too!

Mac Miller released a new song last night in the land down under. Matches is the first track off of his new project coming out, Playing Movies With The Sound Off.
