    BDTB Presents: Favorite Releases of 2013


    As we’ve done the last two years, below is the list of our favorite projects from 2013. This includes both local and global music with a mixture of hip hop, eclectic sounds, singing goodness, and even strictly instrumental works. This year we selected five favorites each, but listed a total of 60 other projects we suggest checking out.

    We also want to state that this is by no means a “best of” list because there is no way to listen to everything, but these are the projects that Jay Diff, Baby D, and myself were bumping and/or feeling the most in 2013. Of course we suggest you check out anything we post, but with that being said, we highly suggest checking out these projects:

  • Big Sean ft. Kendrick Lamar & Jay Electronica “Control” | @BigSean @kendricklamar @JayElectronica


    Big Sean liberated the net last night by dropping “Control”, a track produced by No I.D. that features both Kendrick Lamar and Jay Electronica. This song will not be on Big Sean’s upcoming “HOF” due to the sample not being cleared, but you can download it below. That K. Dot verse is so unfriendly. You can pre order “HOF” now on iTunes.
