Day 2 of 30 Days of Homeboy Sandman: “Couple Bars”

Day two of our 30 Days of Homeboy Sandman series will be a video and song that Homeboy Sandman actually dropped earlier this year. Couple Bars (Honey, Sugar, Darling, Sweetie, Baby, Boo), a track from Sandman’s Stone Throw debut First of a Living Breed album, is a beautifully painted track produced by Brown Bag’s J57. The video follows Homeboy around the city… as he follows and talks to a woman he’s interested in. You know, spitting “a couple bars” at her. It’s a cool and refreshing take on a love song, and a great way to get introduced into his song writing. Enjoy below.
