I have a confession to make: Up until I just recently listened to this song in prep for this series, I always thought Phonte was saying “Fuck Where You’re From…” instead of “The Way You Walk…”, and thinking about it, it’s hilarious to me that I heard what I did because it makes no sense in comparison to what the song is talking about. So yeah, today’s song for our Oddisee series is a track he not only produced, but is also featured on from Little Brother‘s Mick Boogie sponsored And Justus For All mixtape that dropped many years ago.
