After supplying Beat Basement Records MCs with beats for the last 2 years DEVELOP’s first solo release was long overdue. “Beats For The Masses” is a free beat tape, showcasing DEVELOP’s wizardry in creating beats that are jam-packed with dusty vinyl samples, breaks and most importantly – soul.

Beat Basement Records wants to hear you rap over your favourite DEVELOP beat. To celebrate the release of the beat tape, the independent label is running an international MC competition by the name of “Will Rap For Beats”. Entries in all languages are accepted. Submit your entry before the 28th of February 2013 and you might win beats, mixing and publishing for your own digital 4-track EP, provided by Beat Basement Records. Get on it!
