DMobbs is an up and coming hip hop producer from north London. With a big background in both electronic production and live music, around 4 years ago he decided to start producing hip hop. Starting off with remixes of well known artists and one-off collaborations with rappers, today he is working on multiple projects – both instrumental and otherwise. With a wide range of influences from Pete Rock and Dj Premier to Knxledge and Flying Lotus, his style incorporates “old school” sampling with newer, computer based production methods.

“Beets Vol. 1” is a collection of beats made over the past year. Each track offers a different sound, ranging from soulful [“Mon€y B€€ts”/”Release The Pain”] to the more minimal [“BehiiiiiindU”/”COV”]. Beets Vol.1 showcases the variety in DMobbs’s productions whilst at the same time maintaining his unique underlying style.
