Coming out of Edmonton, Canada, Doom Squad and Boosh & the Dip are two groups that are looking to put their city on the map. Every month, Doom Squad spits out a new cypher video featuring a worthy artist, and this past month’s September cypher features the 4 piece band + Emcee act that is: Boosh & the Dip. The video, which is directed and edited by Sonik, showcases the three DS rappers, Boosh, and his band (The Dip) in a luxurious private venue, jamming out the cypher together. Kryple spits first with a punchy and ravenous flow, Ninelivez runs in second with some grimey street talk, Trippz comes in third to flip the script, and then Boosh closes things off with bars that will make you bite your lip. After that comes in wild guitar solos to end this huge piece -which was produced by Boosh himself!

The Doom Squad monthly cypher has been running for over 18 months and has gained a substantial audience, making DS one of the top up and coming hip-hop acts of Western Canada. This recent collaboration with Boosh & the Dip has earned much praise locally as the best cypher to date, and we think this would be a great opportunity to take awareness to the next level.
