F.Stokes “Let’s Build” Video | @fdotstokes

Let’s Build is the newest set of visuals from Chicago artist, F.Stokes. The beat should be enough to draw you into this one. Maria Juranic does a wonderful job with the direction of the video as well as Stokes wanted to make this a shout out to his favorite director, Spike Lee.

Stokes says the track was actually “made in 1985
or ’86 in a welfare office on the Southside of Chicago. This piece is derived from
the cold, empty, hopeless emotions I felt when I saw my mother filling out the paper
work as me and my sister waited.
