Jah9 – “Closer” | @Jah9

After hearing “Avocado” and “Steamer’s A Bubble”, I did some research and found out that Jamaican singer Jah9 had an album out as well. I immediately purchased New Name on iTunes, and instantly I was struck by her incredible way with words. Her message and lyrics paired with a great sound really made me love the album. Since, I have been keeping a close eye on everything she is doing. She is getting ready to go on an east coast tour this month, and just released a new song called “Closer”, which is a feature on Zion High Production’s Nyacoustic Chants album. Give “Closer” a spin and definitely go see her live if she comes to your city.
