Mega Ran – “The Force Pull (Star Wars Rap)” (Video)

Mega Ran has returned during Star Wars Week for “The Force Pull”, a new video and song about being  a Star Wars fan. You can purchase the song from Bandcamp. Read more below.

To celebrate the upcoming film “Star Wars: The Force Awakens,” teacher turned nerd-rapper Mega Ran teams with esteemed producer Slopfunkdust (Rawkus Records, Beat Fanatic) and director Eljay Perez to create “The Force Pull,” a track all about the highs and lows (mostly highs) of being a Star Wars fan for over 30 years.

“It’s been there since before I was born,” Ran says of the original Star Wars film, which predates him by 4 months. “Yet I still know almost every word of the script. I thank my parents for getting me started at an early age.” This marks the first time Ran has placed his nerdy sights on the Star Wars Universe, and it couldn’t come at a better time, as the new Star Wars film, the seventh in the series, debuts this holiday season.

It’s not all good, as Ran states, “still haven’t quite forgiven them for Jar Jar,” in reference to the over-the-top character who debut to much disappointment in “The Phantom Menace” movie.

Mega Ran’s track “The Force Pull” is available for download at megaranmusic.com in a “Digi-Single Pack,” including a video version, an extended mix, a ‘TV Track’ without lead vocals, and full instrumental, as well as on iTunes, and the video can be found on Mega Ran’s YouTube channel.
