Sharon Jones & the Dapkings – “Please Come Home For Christmas” (Video)

2016 has been a hell of a year, and as you probably know, it took the great Sharon Jones last month. This video for “Please Come Home For Christmas” comes less than a week before Christmas and a week after family and friends paid tribute in Brooklyn.

The song you hear in the video, “Please Come Home For Christmas,” is from Sharon Jones & the Dapkings‘ previous holiday album, titled It’s A Holiday Soul Party! The video was put together using claymation, which is reminiscent of Romeo Muller‘s old 1960-70’s Christmas specials. This video, directed by Alex Howard and David Hatter, took over 600 man hours to create.
