The song leads with an audio excerpt of the legendary rapper Game talking about how he can be a Christian and live in contrast to the very Christ of Christianity, in regards to his next album entitled ‘Jesus Piece’. “It Is Written” ultimately addresses the issue and the distorted picture of Christ that Game, Meek Mill, Rick Ross and Kanye West are painting to their listeners.
