Strawberry Jam “Lot More Livin'”

Since I’m covering for Brendon today, I figured I’d go ahead and get into the Saturday jams a little early. “Lot More Livin'” is a smooth track from Strawberry Jam, a duo that prefer to be anonymous. Word from Okayplayer is that one of the artists plays for Prince’s NPG and the other is half of a Brooklyn-based R&B duo. I have my thoughts on who half of the group is, but I’ll leave it up in the air for now. This track got some assistance from Kelyn Crapp on guitar, Kevin Moerhinger on Trombone and Clynt Yerkes on Trumpet.

Aimed at providing musical substance in a surface level industry, Strawberry Jam is an eclectic blend of live and electronic elements, the result being a soulful fusion that leaves one feeling satisfied. Horns, keys, vocals, guitars, synthesizers, drum machines, all blend together into sound reminiscent of the days when a song was an Experience–not just something you clean your house to. Bubbling with youthful optimism, ‘Lot More Livin’ is a piece that looks towards the future and all that it holds. Here’s to life and another day.

I'm just trying to make my art and do what's smart. Cake donuts are clutch.
