I remember last year when producer Ta-Ku dropped a 50 Days for Dilla project. The first half of that project was re-released in March, and now here’s Volume 2 for your ears and hard drive. Grab it below or from iTunes.

HW&W Recordings is excited to announce the release of the second half of Ta-Ku’s 50 Days for Dilla project. For this project Ta-Ku wanted to pay a tribute to his greatest influence by creating a new beat each day for 50 days straight. Ta-Ku utilizes signature drum swings, chilling melodies, and soulful sampling in creating this fresh compilation of hip hop instrumentals. The project was split into two volumes with each containing 25 tracks each.

50 Days for Dilla vol. 1_ was released digitally under HW&W in March 2012 with the vinyl following two months later in May. We are very proud to debut this project as HW&W’s first official vinyl releases. Volume 1 was met with overwhelming response and the vinyl sold out within 6 hours of its online release.

HW&W is releasing _50 Days for Dilla vol. 2_ digitally on **July 24, 2012**. It contains Days 26 through 50 and is available for purchase on iTunes & Bandcamp.
