23 year-old recording artist D-WHY brings his national Young, Loved, Hated & Broke Tour to Indiana for an all-ages show at the Strand Theater in Shelbyville on Tuesday, June 18, 2013 at 7:30 P.M. D-WHY, born David Morris, is a Los Angeles and Brooklyn, NY-based independent recording artist from Charleston, WV. Over the last year, D-WHY has been garnering independent buzz and a loyal fan base by blurring the genres of hip-hop, indie, pop and folk music, the amalgamation of which is his recently released all-original 17-track project, ‘Don’t Flatter Yourself’.

The show will be opened by Shelbyville native Mitch Brown, a.k.a Kid Quill. At just 19, Kid Quill is quickly gaining a fan base on his witty lyrics and energetic performances opening for Jake Miller at the Old National Centre in Indianapolis, and headline shows this past spring at Purdue University and DePauw University.
