B.o.B. – “Summers Day” (Video)

B.o.B. has returned for a new video for “Summers Day,” which is a song from his F.I.R.E. mixtape he released earlier this year. The video features Bobby and Shaun the Sheep hanging out throughout, as this is a nice groovy summertime track. Check out the full mixtape by hitting this link here. I dig this.

I’ve added a few more words about that mixtape below.

B.o.B. keeps digging for truth on his new mixtape.
B.o.B. comes through today with a follow up to his WATER (We Are The Enemy Really) mixtape. The mixtape’s title FIRE (False Idols Ruin Egos) keeps with theme of elements and acronyms, and B.o.B. continues to eschew features on his tapes. Bobby Ray hasn’t lost any quality despite this being his second mixtape in less than two months.

The mixtape opens with news and other audio clips about drug deaths and other tragic occurrences, hinting that the emcee wants to get to the bottom of what’s happening to hip hop. Throughout the tape, B.o.B. seems disillusioned with the state of hip hop. Can he break through to listeners? The tape is hot, but that doesn’t mean the message will register.

I'm just trying to make my art and do what's smart. Cake donuts are clutch.
