D’Angelo & The Vanguard – “Spotify Sessions” (Release)

When D’Angelo & The Vanguard dropped Black Messiah last winter and ended his 14 year silence, they also recorded a 30-minute live set at the Spotify headquarters in New York City, which was just released yesterday. Songs among this set include “Really Love“, “Betray My Heart”, and a cover of Prince’s “She’s Always In My Hair”. Live performances of D’Angelo have been notoriously hard to come by, so I’m sure you’ll savor this one in all of it’s high-fidelity glory. You can also catch the band on tour this summer.
