DECEMBER 25TH, 2015 (EVANSVILLE, INDIANA) – Evansville university student Kyle Stallings, who produces left field beat-based electronica and hip-hop under the pseudonym Ewokie Talkie, officially announced that his forthcoming ‘Wanderer E.P.’ will be released digitally on December 25th through St. Louis based label FarFetched.

December 26th – Stallings has booked popular Evansville venue PG, located at 1418 W Franklin Street, to host the official release party. With strong backing from his FarFetched label mates, the event will feature support from St. Louis hip-hop/beat artists Centipede and Poet J alongside local talent Sans Duke, representing the Evansville sound of Rebore Records. The release party will begin at 9:00 PM with an encouraged donation of $3.

This newest E.P. will be Ewokie Talkie’s second of the year following the October release ‘Thx’ and his third full length solo effort, the first being his ‘Arrangement For Spacement’ project in 2012. Despite what may seem as an extended period of time away from the studio for Stallings between his first album and his most recent two, his time has been well spent networking across the Midwest with some of the most influential and forward-thinking labels and artists. In 2013, Ewokie Talkie collaborated with fellow beat-maker Nunca Duerma of Detroit’s Young Heavy Souls Records to produce the single ‘Aura Blast’. The two would collaborate again in 2014, when Ewokie Talkie produced the official remix for Duerma’s track ‘Friends’ from his full-length release ‘Shapeshifter’. Stallings also made an appearance with the track ‘Crashes’ on ‘Push Beats Compilation Vol. 2’, a collection of future sounds curated by Chicago’s hip-hop/beat collective Push Beats.

With his sounds making their way from Evansville to St. Louis to Detroit and Chicago, Ewokie Talkie’s forthcoming release is sure to draw the attention of fans, tastemakers and labels alike for a chance to listen in to the mind of this talented young producer.
