Skyzoo & !llmind – “Live From The Tape Deck” (Release)

Let’s go back to 2010 for Skyzoo and !llmind‘s Live From The Tape Deck album. One thing I want to do from time to time is revisit some classic albums that we either didn’t share, were before our time, or we neglected in some way. With that being said, this is one of my favorite projects in the last decade.

Standing strong at 12 tracks deep, the blending of !llmind’s synth and sample chopped production, with crazy slapping boom-bap-esque drums, mixes great with Skyzoo’s style and writing. Add in some great concepts and a few dope features from Rock, Sean Price, Buckshot, Styles P, Rhymefest and Torae, and you have a really solid album you can play front to back.
