Upcoming Event: Writer’s Block w/ ILL Brown & Mandog (8/5/13) | @ILLBrown @The_Mandog

This upcoming Monday at Sabbatical in Broad Ripple, we have a brand new edition of our Writer’s Block series with DJ MetroGnome. This time we’ll be showcasing Chicago’s ILL Brown (Freddie Gibbs, Bun B, Dom Kennedy, Casey Veggies, etc) and Naptown’s Mandog.

As with all our Writer’s Block events, producers and emcees are encouraged to come out and mingle, network, and talk with each other. The producers at the end of the night will have the opportunity to play beats of their own on the open decks.

Additionally, we’ve decided to start a sampling competition for the fun of it. So, grab the song from the link below and sample it however you want, bring it out on Monday, and the winner will get a small prize package. I mean, small like a pack of Skittles and a $5 bar tab. It’s all for fun!
