Willis – “Ame Morte” (Release)

Naptown’s Willis has written, produced and mastered his new 3 track EP, Ame Morte. He did bring on Nate Rhoads for some production assistance on “Romance”. Check out the tracks below and see what the emcee has to say about the EP as well.

“Ame Morte means “Dead Soul” in French, which is how I feel most of the time. These three songs sort of take you through various reasons for this. “Galactic Escape” was something I produced and wrote on a beach in Florida at 3 AM, and the song embodies a single moment in time when I wanted everything to stand still. I felt perfect in that moment, and all my regular stresses faded, but I knew I would have to come back to reality eventually. “Galactic Escape” is another one I produced myself, and the verses are very aggressive and loud, where the chorus is very calm and almost plays in slow motion. “Romance” was produced by Nate Rhoads, and it takes the listener through my feelings towards love, focusing on one girl.”
