Chris Rivers – “Delorean” (Release)

I’ve enjoyed watching Chris Rivers‘ grind these last few years, and he’s back again with a solid project in Delorean. Bars upon bars, man. This project has more than bars, though, as there are some really great songs to digest. There are features on Delorean from Lil Fame, Sheek Louch, Styles P, Lydia Ceaser, Dyce Payne, Oswin Benjamin, S.E.A. and others.

“It’s the first project I’m actually proud of. For years I’ve felt unsure and voiceless either doing what I felt was expected of me or told and never really making the music and speaking the words that felt true to myself. This was due to uncertainties and what I felt was the lack of skill and experience to properly convey who I was musically. I want to stress how important it is to know yourself. To take the time to embrace who you are with every nuance, strength and weakness, perfection and flaw and to truly understand who you are. This is a life time journey but I feel like this project is the start of me coming into my own and ultimately achieving peace and happiness within my soul.
