Sadistik – “Kill The King” ft. Deacon The Villain (Video)

This Kno produced track is one from Sadistik‘s Flowers For My Father album that release last month. You can check the Seattle emcee’s single here, and the album can be purchased from this site. The video was directed by Deacon The Villain.

The song, Kill The King, much like the album, is a departure both musically and personally for Sadistik. “It basically means to kill your ego,” Sadistik explains, “in order to gain objectivity and express yourself with honesty.” The video is a direct manifestation of that outlook, depicting a girl amidst the trials and tribulations of her own drug addiction as well the resulting struggle to see who she’s truly become.
