Sleepyeyes – “Moonglow” (Release)

Los Angeles’ lofi beat heavyweight Sleepyeyes unloads a new batch of heat with his latest self-released beat tape, Moonglow. Dropping right on the heels of his debut LP, Moonglow continues Sleepyeyes’ signature exploration of mellow sample flips, while upping the dosage of psychedelic experimentalism. At some moments Sleepyeyes wanders away from hip hop completely, but always touches back down into that groove distinct to the LA beat scene.
